ABOUT KONBINI HEROES
Konbini Heroes is a multimedia urban fantasy project created by 深夜 (Shinya).
Born from years of life, work, and personal experiences, both good and bad, Konbini Heroes explores the struggles that many people carry in silence. Through music, manga, and storytelling, the project reflects the weight of issues such as workplace abuse, bullying, domestic violence, loneliness, social isolation, and the countless hardships that can slowly break a person from within.
Many of these burdens are rarely spoken about. Some people carry them for years without ever finding a place where they feel understood.
At its heart, Konbini Heroes is not a story about superheroes.
It is a story about broken people who choose to stand together.
People who have suffered, failed, been abandoned, or lost their way, yet still find the strength to help others avoid the same pain they once endured.
Over the years, the creator witnessed countless stories of exhaustion and sacrifice. Workers trapped in endless shifts, people unable to spend time with their families, individuals isolated from society, and others who felt they no longer belonged anywhere.
Late at night, when most of the city is asleep, there are only a few places that continue to welcome them.
One of those places is the konbini.
For many, it becomes a brief refuge. A place to breathe, rest, and continue moving forward for one more day.
Those experiences, both personal and observed, became the foundation of the Konbini Heroes universe.
Through its music, manga, and lore, the project tells stories of resilience, recovery, friendship, loss, and hope. Stories about people who are struggling. People who are healing. People who are searching for a place where they belong.
In this world, the greatest battles are not always fought against monsters.
Sometimes they are fought against loneliness, despair, social pressure, and the invisible wounds that others cannot see.
Konbini Heroes is a story about being seen.
A story about being heard.
A story about finding light during the longest shift of the night.
